Today I downloaded the album “From Below” by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. I am only three songs into it but it is a beautiful CD.

Then I watched TV in bed with my two best friends in the whole wide world. We got hungry around 5, went to I Hop and had a great breakfast for dinner.
7 PM. Went to my apartment and took a shower. None of my roommates...

i really love my friends, and yesterday really, honestly, truly made me realize it....

“dad said that you said i can look at townhouses to live in.”
Living
my two friends and i are looking to move off campus next year and we have been looking exclusively at apartments in the towson, maryland area. today, my dad sent me an e mail with a link to craigslist for an absolutely beautiful town house on the water in this area. i immediately called the renter and it’s a little steep for our price range. i then spoke to my dad and he said he was...
Why did the chicken cross the road?
Plato: For the greater good. Aristotle: To fulfill its nature on the other side. Karl Marx: It was a historical inevitability. Machiavelli: So that its subjects will view it with admiration, as a chicken which has the daring and courage to boldly cross the road, but also with fear, for whom among them has the strength to contend with such a paragon of avian virtue? In such a manner is the...

Norah: There’s this part of Judaism that I like. Tikkun Olam. It said that the world is broken into pieces and everyone has to find them and put them back together. Nick: Maybe we don’t have to find it. Maybe we are the pieces.
